Given there is no curriculum /syllabus for preparing for nift and nid but there must be some books that we can study to refine our skills?

Hey Raushan,

Sirigowri Kambalimath is the topper of Bachelor Of Fashion Technology, NIFT 2018 and she scored 89.6 out of 100.

The Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) were both easy which was told by her and she was able to complete both within the given time.

Go for Manorama GK Book And LUcene GK Book re top recommended books as these have maximum Current affairs and GK top questions . NIFT Entrance exam willnajorly comprise of Current Affairs.

You can alsi read daily newspaper and news channels for more information .

Hello,

Yes,of course you can take a year drop after completion of your 12th you can drop and prepare foe nift or nid or whichever exam you want to appear in and there is no issue in that.

what rank is needed to get into top 5/8 NIFT in general category?

Hello Aspirant,

Its very difficult to predict nift. I can suggest you a stat that in 2016 last merit rank admitted in b.f.tech was 881 but in 2017 it the counseling stopped at 589 for general category.
So prepare well and drop these thoughts from mind.If you will do well

Those, who will fulfill the specified age and educational requirements for NIFT 2019, will be considered eligible. ...NIFT eligibility criteria 2019 for appearing in the entrance test for admissions to Bachelor of Design(B.Des) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech).
