Hello!!!!!

Hope you are doing great!!!

Kartik,Your All India rank would be 3,38,913 approximately by using the formula 100-61*869010/100 where 61 is your percentile and 869010 is the number of students who appeared in the january session. As per the previous year scenario,With this rank you can not get seat in Computer science ,electrical and electronics engineering under home state quota and your category. You may have to appear for the July session. For checking the probabilities of colleges or NIT's , you can use our college predictor. The link is mentioned below:

Harsha Sinha 17th May, 2020

Hi there,

If you get a chance to chose between these two college then go for jadavpur university without any second thought.

As jadavpur is one the best college in the  nation and far better than any nit on the basis of education placement fees etc.

I got 95 percentile in jee mains 2020 January attempt. I belongs to GEN-EWS category. Is there any chance that i can get into CSE or IT branch iN NIT KURUKSHETRA

rajaman9300 Student Expert 7th Apr, 2020

Considering rank formula, your rank will be arounf 45k to 46k. So Aniket, with this rank  it is pretty tough to get CSE in any NIT's. If you consider last year cutoffs or percentile then students with 96.5 too were not able to get CSE. You can get IT in North Eastern NIT's or even Kurukshetra. Just work hard hard for Advance.

i have got 77 percentile in jee main January 2020. will i get nit kurukshetra? Home State-Haryana. Category_SC

Anurag Khanna 17th Mar, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As we know that results of JEE-Main January session are declared in percentile form so exact rank cannot be predicted from percentile. Here we have a formula through which we can predict the near about rank, formula is

(100 - your percentile) *869010/100

According to this formula your rank would be around 2 Lakhs. So on this rank it is not possible to get seat in NIT Kurukshetra whether you belong to any reservation category or not.

I would suggest you to prepare yourself for April session of JEE-Main 2020 . You can use the preparation tips for JEE-Main for better preparation.

You can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the best college according to your percentile and category.

I hope your question has been answered properly.

All the best!!
