I got 17387 rank in jee main general category from haryana can i get admission in nit kurukshetra IT

Hello,
As you have mentioned that your jee main cutoff rank is 17387 which is not tgat good and you fall under general category. Looking over all this scenario your chances to get seat in NIT Kurukshetra is negligible because the cutoff rank for NIT Kurukshetra for Computer engineering is near about 5799 rank for general category.
IT. 7623 cutoff rank
ECE. 9995 cutoff rank
Electrical engineering. 12788 Cutoff rank
MECHANICAL.   13515 cutoff rank
Civil.     18013 cutoff rank
Production and industrial engineering.   22806 Cutoff rank.
So, looking over these cutoffs you may only get civil and production and industrial engineering because it fall under your cutoff rank. But admission in CSE and IT and some other branches is almost negligible.

I had got 17122 all india rank and 3700 obc-ncl rank. My home state is haryana. Can i get IT branch in nit kurukshetra?

As you have home state quota ,at this rank of OBC category if we look at previous years cutoffs you will definitely get IT branch in Nit kurukshetra.

nit kurukhetra is a prestigious institution to study btech. see fee structure depends on your family income also.

there are different fee structure for sc/st. and for general category whose family income is less than or equal to 5 lakhs has different fee structure.

I am sorry to tell that with a rank about 1 lakh 72 thousand it is not possible for you to get NIT Kurukshethra even if you belong to general ews category.Hence try for some other colleges or give some other entrance examinations properly.Hope you understood.Thank You.

Nithish as you well aware about that getting into the zone of NITs you have to pay the lot of hardwork inorder to fetch the top rank in it, based upon the General Category cuttoff in this year unfortunately you can't be able to take the admission in the NIT Kurukshetra premises, so it might be better if you try to the other engineering institute or you can take the drop as well if you think you can score well in next year.
