For NEET eligibility i got phy 44 ,Chem 65,& bio 60 is it enough to get seat i am PH Catagary

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020
Hi

Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /stor least 45 % in aggregate of PCB if belongs to PH category.

So , being from pH category you need at least 45% aggregate in PCB to be eligible.
Now,
Your aggregate in PCB is
44+65+60
= 169
=(169/300*100 )%
= 56.3% i.e greater than 45% , so you fulfil above aforesaid % requirement for Ph category  and thus you are eligible for neet examination

Is internal theory marks added in total theory marks for neet eligibility criteria?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Jul, 2020

To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. If your board accepts Internal theory marks and declares you Pass in your results, then NTA will accept that and consider you eligible.

if we calculate all the 50percentage in PCB are calculate individual PCB 50percent?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020

Hello

You need to consider your percentage in aggregate of PCB and not individually in each of PCB .

This is because,

Neet eligibility  criteria says that,
to be eligible  you must have passed your 12th with English and PCB (in both the theory and practical)  with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination  if you belong to general category , or  at least  45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st

if we caluclate 50percentage in PCB or individual for each subject we have to pass 50percentage

S. Saha Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020
To be eligible for Neet, one needs to pass 10+2 or equivalent with English and PCB (Both Theory and practical)as core subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate of PCB. This 50% aggregate of PCB will be calculated including your theory and practical, both marks. The aggregate is 45% for pwd candidates, and 40% for OBC, SC, ST candidates. This percentage is in aggregate of PCB not individual percentage of these subjects.

Which type of benefits I would get if I choose maths after 12th

Anonymous 19th Dec, 2017

You should always prefer a course according to your interest and passion.

If you have mathematics as a subject then you have good scope related to job in both private and public sector.

You can apply for a job like ISRO, DRDO and NAL.

There are many good private companies which provides good offers.

After 12, you can go for B.Sc, B.Tech/BE which have very good scope in the future.

Good luck!!
