Yes , you are eligible for Neet examination even if you have an year gap between your class 11th and class 12th.

This is because,

There is no rule which says that if you have an year gap between your class 11th and 12th you become ineligible for Neet

Neet is National Eligibility Entrance Test. It is the entrance test for admission to MBBS ,BDS , veterinary ,and Ayush courses.

For preparing neet you must refer ncert books. SSC books are not enough for the exam.
