Neet is a combined medical entrance exam conducted by NTA.
Eligibility include 12th PCB stream student with

50% total aggregate (UR)
40% ST/SC/OBC

As your total 12th aggregate is 49% you don't fulfill the above mentioned criteria so your are not eligible for the examination.

Hello aspirant,

In order to appear for NEET UG entrance exam, candidates must have minimum education qualification required and age limit which says candidates must have minimum 17 years age on or before 31st December in the year of taking admission. There is no upper age limit.

The minimum percentage to be eligible for neet examination is 60% in science stream but you cannot be eligible for neet examination as it also has a age criteria the minimum age and the maximum age so you cannot be eligible for neet examination because of the age

There is an eligibility criteria to be allowed to write NEET. You might not clear it as your pcb total comes to 38% if the marks are out of 100. Just check and if you don't fit, you can either give boards again or try some paramedical courses that

YES, there is defence reserve Quota for NEET UG . There are around 20 seats in MBBS reserved for wards of Defence persons . Depending upon performance of candidate in NEET exam and priority of father in Defence, admission is given to candidates in MBBS.
