According to 2017 statistics if you belong to SC category then there is a chance of getting seat in this college.If you belong to 2B rural then there is chance of getting seat in EC and IS.

Undoubtedly i would suggest you to go for NMIT as NMIT has NBA accredition which helps a lot in terms of placement. But the placement and the package depends extremely on the branch which you choose. But as your preferred course is CSE or ISE you will most probably get a job and if you know a bit of coding you will get a package of >5 lack p.a.

So overall,  NMIT is a better choice , it will prove much better for you if you have talent and chosen your branch wisely.

You cannot convert NMAM Institute of Technology unfortunately as cutoffs below 10000 ranks under CSE department and all otger streams. 

Your chances are good for following college in CSE department s :

• PES college of engineering 
• SJB Institute of Technology 
• CMR Institute of technology 
• MVJ college of engineering 
• Basavewshwar engineering college. 

Yes!transportation route is their to hebri.

Fee of almost college including hostel and mess will be nearly 2 lakhs per annum.
