Hi Arpit, As per your query about the bds admission in govt college through management quota, i would say NO, it never happens.... Even if the seat are vacant they can only allot seat to merit list students

If we compare both the branches Chemical engineering has better scope than petroleum engineering in terms of future prospect and job.

The placement record is decent but you can have better options like UPES it has better placement record for petroleum engineers. But better to choose the college as per your interest.
