Perteoleum Engineering is an excellent option to go for if interested in the field. JNTU Kakinada has a great infrastructure, experienced faculty and lots of other opportunities. The petroleum engineering department is the youngest and the curriculum is interesting. Placements are fine and may get better in coming years
