No, you cannot substitute physics subject with some other subject. Physics is the very important subject for engineering admission.

So you will have to score more than 50 % in physics.

hello aspirant,

if you are from sc/st category you need to score around 80-85 in jee main for pdpu. and for general category it is 130-150. how ever cutoff changes year to year depending on questions level. you may check the following link for further information.

 There is no set criteria in ranking system for the branches. Counselling is done on the basis of rank you secured in UPESEAT. I can help you with the cutoff rank in UPES for APE -UPSTREAM which was approximately under 12,000 last year.
