Hello Aspirant,
If you want to be a Pilot in India then either you can be a Commercial Pilot or you can be a Fighter pilot in India Air Force, so let us discuss the different ways for both types of pilots.
To become a commercial pilot you must have a commercial pilot license and it is issued to the candidates by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, there are three steps which one should follow in order to a commercial pilot license :-
>> Step 1 :- A written examination is conducted to test the knowledge of students in subjects like Physics and Mathematics.
>> Step 2 :- You have to appear for Pilot Aptitude Test where your technical skills regarding the field of aviation will be checked.
>> Step 3 :- You have to appear for Personal interview and Medical examination conducted by DGCA Officials.
Now for fighter pilot in IAF you have some entrance exams like AFCAT, CDSE, NDA and NCC.

hi,
fly training schools in India are approved by DGCA, and you must have physics and mathematics in 12th course to become a pilot. if you want to become a pilot in India after completing training from Indian institute, then physics and maths are compulsory subjects. An individual is required to pass these in order to be a pilot in India. however admission of flying outside of India then its quite possible without Maths and Physics.

Hello,
You will be eligible foe the Student Pilot License (SPL) as the eligibility criteria states that the candidate should have attained the age of 16 years and should have a minimum qualification of Class 10th passed. But to fly the planes you need either Private Pilot License (PPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and to get these the candidate should have passed their 10+2 level exam. So diploma students are not eligible for those. If you still want to become a pilot then you can complete your 10+2 level in the open schooling with Physics and Math as compulsory subjects. Only then you will be eligible for the Private Pilot License (PPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
The training fees for becoming commercial pilot is generally pretty high, there are multiple sources from which a candidate can apply for financial aid.
The best option is to go for education loan at a low interest rate from various banks such as State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, etc.
Coming on to the countries where training fees is less than India are- Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Morocco, are some of them.
