See, high paying jobs are available in both the branches with equal opportunities. If I give some examples of companies in both CSE and ECE, then:
CSE: Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Netflix etc. ECE: Samsung, Cisco, NVIDIA, etc
So, it finally boils down to your interest, but in general jobs are more abundant in CSE, so if you don't have any particular interest, you should go for CSE.
