Hello aspirant,
Yes, absolutely. You can be eligible to pursue MA Economics with a under graduation of 59% as the minimum eligibility criteria to pursue this course is to have completed your bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50-55%. So no need to be worried. As per your merit, you will get admission. Admission will be based either on merit level or entrance level.
Hope, this answer helps you.
Hey aspirant,
It would have been helpful if you would have mentioned in which subject you want to pursue BA hons.
However I'll try to help you by providing a rough idea. Yes, your chances for admission in any of the BA courses are high.
Last year's cut off marks for BA programme of St. Stephen's College for COTH was 88, for BA Economics hons. it was 91.75 and for BA English hons. it was 88.75.
As you have scored higher than the mentioned cut offs , it can be predicted that you do have a fair chance of getting admission.

Hello,
The best four subjects for calculation of percentage for B.Sc Mathematics(Hons) is that minimum 60% in one language from List A1, Mathematics and any two subjects from List B. There is no Fine Arts or Painting subjects in List B so you cannot include these subjects. It has to be any two subjects in list B.
There is no B.Sc (Hons) Econimics but BA (Hons)Economics and the best four should be calculates as follows,
Minimum aggregate of 60% marks any one Language from list A1, Mathematics and combination of best two other elective subjects from Lists A and B. And one subject must be Economics of the two subjects if not 1% marks will be deduced. If you do not include the two subjects in list A & B the there will be a deduction of 2.5% percentage of the overall percentage in 4 subjects. Again in list A & B there is no Fine Arts or Painting listed so you cannot include the marks but if you did your percentage may get deduced by 1% or 2.5% depending on the subjects you are including.
