Statistics
Hi,
Well AI is combination of both statistics as well as electronics. AI is a broad technology with many possible applications. It’s typically divided into special sub-branches. Here’s a brief summary of each:
• General problem solving: Problems with no known algorithmic solution. Problems with ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Expert systems: Software that incorporates a knowledge base of rules, facts, and data derived from multiple individual experts. The knowledge base can be queried to solve problems, diagnose medical conditions, or provide advice.
• Natural language processing (NLP): NLP is used to derive understanding from natural text. Voice recognition is a part of NLP. Language translation is an application.
• Computer vision: Analyzing and understanding visual information (photos, video, etc.). Machine vision and facial recognition are examples. Used in self-driving cars and factory inspection.
• Robotics: Making robots more intelligent, self-operating, adaptive, and more useful.
• Games: AI is great at playing games. Computers already have been programmed to play and win at chess, poker, and Go.
• Machine learning: Procedures to allow a computer to learn from data or other inputs and make sense of the results for application. Neural networks make up the framework for machine learning.
Hope this helps.
Hello student!
To have a whole clear degree in your hand you first need to clear the ATKT of your SYBA Sem 4.
As far as aspect regarding Semester 5 and 6 is concerned, Yes you can attempt again through IDOL.
But the aspect regarding Theory, I am sorry but no as Math and Statistics are both practical based examinations, you cannot just opt for theory.
It does not depend on anyone but just on the person who will set the exam, whether to ask theoretical or practical questions.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Yes, you may pursue an MSc after completing your BSC. Because these two disciplines constitute computer science, it is simple to pursue a career in artificial intelligence after graduation.
However, I would advise you not to pick this particular topic. There is a lot of opportunity, but not in India. Furthermore, many universities do not provide this subject. It will be decided whether a candidate is admitted to this programme based on their performance in the entrance examination or on the basis of their performance in the Bachelor's degree examination.
Finally, you may pursue a degree in artificial intelligence, although there aren't many universities that offer this programme.
After finishing a Bsc in mathematics or computer science, you may apply for an MSc in artificial intelligence. The major goal of the programme is to guarantee that students have a solid knowledge of the principles of artificial intelligence as well as Machine Learning.
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence is a two-year Postgraduate degree programme.
Eligibility
Minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation, particularly in computer science is required.
Colleges in India that offer a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence degree
Sardar Patel University is affiliated with the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research.
K L University is a private research university in Kolkata, India.
Garden City University is a private, non-profit institution located in Garden City, New York.
Assam Down Town University is a public university in Assam, India.
Auro University is a private, non-profit institution located in Auro, Italy.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
Dear candidate B.Sc Statistics in really a nice course with a very bright career but for the past few years B.Pharmacy stream is growing exponentially. In upcoming few years it would be one of the best professions in India. So with this percentile you would get pretty good Institutions in Maharashtra, if you want you can take admission. After completion of your B.Pharm degree you would get a drug license, you can be central government or State government hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Goverment analyst or work in Pharmacovigilance data analyst sector also.
Hope it helps!!
Dear aspirant!
Hope you are doing well! I think you should not change your subjects if you take physics as a burden then please change it and take maths but if your interest is in it then don't change . Everything depend on one's interest don't see the world , don't become the part of rat-race ,you have a good future scope so be wise.
Wishing for the bright future!
Thanking you!
Despite the usefulness of statistics in many fields, impression should not be carried that statistics are like magical devices which always provide the correct solution to problems. Unless the data are properly collected and critically interpreted there is every likelihood of drawing wrong conclusions. Therefore, it is also necessary to know the limitations and the possible misuses of statistics. The following are the important limitations of the science of statistics:
Since statistics deals with aggregates of facts, the study of individual measurements lies outside the scope of statistics. Data are statistical when they relate to measurement of masses, not statistical when they relate to an individual item or event as a separate entity. For example, the wage earned by an individual worker at any one time taken by itself is not a statistical datum. But the wages of workers of a factory can be used statistically. Similarly, the marks obtained by one student of a class or his height are not the subject-matter of the study of statistics but the average marks of the average height has statistical relevance.
Hello,
As per your query, you can do MSc in Statistics at various prestigious colleges in India.
To be eligible for doing post graduate in Statistics, you should fulfil the following criteria:
Completion of Bachelors in Statistics or Mathematics or Mathematics with Computer Applications along with Statistics is mandatory
One cannot pursue a degree in statistics from any other field.
The minimum aggregate score of 50-60% at the level of graduation is required for admission into this program.
The cut off varies from each college.
Scope of Statistics in India and Abroad:
There is a lot of scope in the subject. The knowledge of statistics is useful in every field. Hence, specializations also have a wide scope. Being of use to varied fields, the scope for a career in statistics is huge.
The government sector is the largest employer in this field. You could be a part of the administrative services, economic services, and policy making fields, the statistical organizations and planning commissions.
Statistics have come to the spotlight ever since the pandemic broke out, we see how data and numbers are used every day to bring out policies and manage the entire nation. We see how crucial statistics has become for the entire world. Incorrect data collection, analysis and management could cause the entire nation and world to collapse, that’s how important statistics has become in the present world.
Having a career in statistics outside India is more advantageous. Mainly because research is one of the main job profiles in this field, research in India is still in the developing phase, and the payment scales do not complement the workload. Moreover, the job profiles are of a wider range and the employees have a higher pay scale.

Hey
Limitations of statistics
Statistics is unable to explain individual items
Statistics are unable to study qualitative characters
Statistical results are not accurately correct
Statistics deal with average
Statistics is only one of the methods of studying a given problem
Statistics is liable to be misused
Qualitative Aspect Ignored
Many methods to study problems
Results are true only on average
Statistical laws are not exact
I hope you are doing good,
