There is basically 2 process for admission in Techno India, salt lake, either you have to go through wbjee or jee mains rank or you may take admission through management quota.
If you want to get direct admission in Techno India salt lake you have to talk with management of Techno India.

And the fee for this will vary and it is quite high. If you get seat through WBJEE counselling or through JEE Mains the fee is 3 lakhs for the entire course duration in CSE. And you must have atleast 60% aggregate in your 10+2 from a recognised board.

There is no Techno India in Haldia so I assume you are talking about Haldia Institute of Technology.

There are many points to consider to decide which one is better. One of the most important thing to consider is the placement opportunities. Techno India, Salt lake provides better placement opportunities than HIT. Top companies come here for recruitment & most students manage to secure a job which is not the case in HIT.

On the other hand, the infrastructure of HIT is better than Techno India & it was also ranked 82 in infrastructure. The campus life is also amazing here & the hostels & everything are great whereas Techno India does not provide hostel facilities.

The faculty is knowledgeable in both the institutions & the education is great in both the places so that won't be a problem no matter which one you choose.

In 1st semester you have to pay around (40-50)k,

In 2nd to 8th semester you have to pay around (15-20)k per semester.
