To be eligible to apply for B.Tech admissions, you need a minimum in 60% in PCM of Class 12th. The cutoff for Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering is generally around the rank of 3,00,000 in JEE Mains.

Dear Shivani, To clear Civils and become an IAS officer, you have to cross 3 steps i.e. Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Personal Interview. First off you need to complete your Graduation because the basic eligibility criteria to apply for Preliminary examinations that you should have a Bachelor's degree. The Prelims exam has 2 papers which test your General Knowledge and Aptitude. You move on to the 2nd round which is Mains only if you clear the Prelims. The subjects that you have studied in your Graduation  help when you have to take 2 optional subjects during your Mains exam. Because Prelims is all about General awareness and aptitude, say you have cleared it, now you get to choose 2 subjects of your choice in Mains. Now this is where your degree will help you. Candidates get to choose a language of their choice. So if you have done your BA in English, you have a chance in this section to score good. Even if your BA has any of the subjects among Economics/Geography/Geology/Indian History/Philosophy/Psychology/Sociology, you have an upper hand among many other aspirants because with proper preparation and the ability to produce your thoughts on the paper, you can score better.

Hi Saurabh , This college has good reviews for placements. Staff is trying to place every student. Packages are not fixed. They get vary as per company and student. But overall percentage of placement is good.

The placement percentage at Northcap University is about 95% which is very good. Most of the eligible student have already been placed in the company before completing the graduate. The major companies visited our campus include Microsoft,TCS,OTUM,Deloitte,Nagarro,Reliance etc.

The placement percentage is about 100% as every eligible student got placed in reputed companies already. The major companies visited the campus include TCS,OPTUM,Deloitte,Gemini,Nagarro,Orange and Fidelity. The average package is starting from 4.5 lakh per annum.

Placement cell is quite good. It's been 1 and half month since my 7th semester started and already 7 companies (for Btech only) came for their placement drives. Companies visited: Deloitte, Fidelity Internationals, Gemini Solutions, Libsys, Orkash, Yatra, com, Navarro.

the placements at northcap university, gurgaon is average And not that good. If you do internship during your college days you might get slightly better placement. The average package is 2.5 to 3 lakhs. Highest is around 6.5 lakhs. This is the placement for engineering students. Delliote and TCS come for mass recruitment.

There are a number of electives to choose from as soon as a student reaches the 3rd semester. Python PHP Could Computing Cybersecurity Network Security Big data & Hadoop Analytics in R etc. Students as per their interest could opt for any of these. In my case, I opted for Python, PHP, NS, and Analytics in R (semester 3/4/5)
