TS EAMCET is the state level entrance examination for Engineering and medical program. Recent news states that there will be no 12th percentage added as  weightage for EAMCET rank. But securing good percentage in 12th may have some concession in Tuition fees. Categories such as SC/ ST/ General/ BC etc. doesn't have any special ranks, EAMCET ranks are state level Ranks declared by the JNTUH on behalf of the Telangana state council of higher Education.

Categories matters only at the time of counseling where colleges have some seat reservations for candidate belong to SC/ST/BC category securing high rank then general category. As your son has secured 51 marks in TS EAMCET examination, His ranked would be in between 40000 - 50000 according to previous year rank survey. He would definitely get good colleges. Greetings!! You got an decent rank in eamcet. The closing rank for B.tech electronics and communication engineering ( ECE ) is 49800 for sc category . These are closing rank or trends of 2019 . Hence this year the closing rank may be change.

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 20000-40000 . But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

As the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

Hello Aspirant. In 2021 TS EAMCET, around 2,27,000 candidates appeared for exam, out of which a total of 1,94,550 candidates were qualified.  The overall percentage of qualification of both Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medicine streams (AM) is about 85.70% .

Among those 2,27,000 candidates, about 1,64,963 candidates registered for the engineering stream and 1,47,991 were present for the exam while around 86,641 candidates registered for Agriculture & Medicine stream and 79,009 were present for the exam.

The Qualification criteria for TSEAMCET is that the student needs to secure minimum of 25% from the total marks of EAMCET keeping aside the IPE marks. That means for the total of 160 marks if you get 40 marks, then you are qualified for TSEAMCET.

TS EAMCET exam is taken for getting admission in  engineering ,medical and agriculture ,and its cut off range is different also for individual domain .Let me know first , in which stream you want to pursue !

Well , with your rank , you can get rank between 100000-200000,(For engineering) which is not too good .
