For general merit students : - 425-450 approximately (All India quotes Government seat)

For general merit students : - 320-400 approximately (State Government quota depending on State domicile)

For private colleges : - In India there are few private colleges for Veterinary who accept low scores but the fees amount is huge.

In general, bangalore veterinary college had cut off for 1196 , bidar had 1680, hassan college had 1948 and shimogga veterinary college had 2039 as on 2017. It was almost similar with +/- 5 in the year 2018. So the cut off Rank would be almost similar. All the best !

If APST gets 300 then can anyone get government medical colleges in state quota not only mbbs bds but can he/she get veterinary govt colleg

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 10th Nov, 2018

Dear Sammin, if you are talking about NEET UG exam, it is only for admissions into Medical and Dental Colleges. There is a different NEET Exam that is held for admissions into Vetrinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Getting a govt. seat also depends on your category and cut off marks. So predicitng in a general sense becomes difficult.

Veterinary sciences or fisheries science.. Which has more scope?

ruchika.chauhan Expert 15th Nov, 2018

Hello Sanjeev
There are wide range of scope for Veterinary graduates. They can work in government as well as private organisations. Candidates can work in pharmacy, poultry, dairy industries, etc.
After completion of fishery science course , candidates can work as fisheries biologist, Aqua Culturist, etc. After completion of this course also you can work in both private and government sector.
There decent scope after completion of both the courses. You should choose to opt the course according to your interest.
Good Luck!
