What is the full form of MALA D ?

MALA D is a tablet which is a combination of Ethinyl Estradiol and Ferrous Fumarate. It is a birth control medicine that is used to avoid pregnancy. It is a pill which should be taken for 28 days or as prescribed by the certified doctor. This medicine is mainly prescribed for treating irregular periods. This medicine consists of two types of tablet, white and red tablet, where white tablet consists of Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel and red tablet contains the Ferrous Fumarate. It stops the ovaries from releasing an egg and stops fertilization by the sperm.

This medicine is also used to stop or decrease the changes of menopause. It is necessary to contact a gynecologist before taking this medicine as it has many side effects, so these are taken under doctors advice. If this medicine is taken regularly by consulting the doctor then it can avoid pregnancy for three years.
