Master degree in folklore/Tribal Language/Anthropology/Sociology/Linguistics/Tribal Studies or any other discipline or equivalent with 55% marks ( 50% for SC/ST applicants).

Ph.D. in Tribal folklore, Language and Literature.

Master degree in folklore/Tribal Language/Anthropology/Sociology/Linguistics/Tribal Studies or any other discipline or equivalent with 55% marks ( 50% for SC/ST applicants).

Ph.D. in Tribal and Customary Law.

Master degree in Anthropology/Sociology/Tribal Studies/Law or any other relevant discipline of Social Sciences or equivalent with 55% marks ( 50% for SC/ST applicants).

Ph.D. in Tibetan Language and Culture.

Acharya or Master degree in Buddhist studies/Philosophy/Theology/Comparative Philosophy/History/Sanskrit/Pali/Linguistics/Library Science/Social Anthropology/ Political Science/Languages or Monastic qualification of Thorim with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST applicants).

Selection process for CUJ M.Phil/ Ph.D program in various disciplines.

Selections shall be done based on the basis of entrance test followed by interview.
Applicants who have qualified UGC-NET-JRF or UGC-NET (Lectureship) or are holders of any other fellowship gained through national level exam shall be exempted from entrance test.

Separate application is to be made for each course.
The application form SHOULD NOT be sent by either Post or in Person. Such applications shall not be entertained.
Applicants shall be called for a written test followed by an interview. Outstation candidates should prepare themselves accordingly.
