Most of the questioms in VITEEE are from 12th syllabus, but to be clear in that topics your 11th portion should also be strong. And yes almost all the syllabus is from syllabus provided by VIT, only few questions come from outside. As there is no negative marking you

You could get category 1 not sure but chances are there as per my calculation and considering various factors like counselling time, JEE mains exam counselling and all.

Last year the category 1 for Vellore campus finished at 5400 but last year VIT counselling was after the JEE mains counselling
