KIIT, Bhubaneshwar and TCE, Madurai are both well reputed colleges for Engineering. KIIT has a slight edge in terms of faculty, location and student life but TCE has slightly better placement options.

Also, the fees for KIIT's B.Tech. course are around 15 Lakhs compared to TCE's 2 Lakhs.

The aggregate for EAMCET will have both IPE marks and EAMCET entrance exam marks with 25% and 75% of weightages respectively. So, divide your IPE marks by 24, you will get aggregate for IPE marks. Then multiply your EAMCET marks by 15/32, you will get your EAMCET aggregate.

Though it is not mentioned as mandatory to have a laptop, you will need it for your homeworks, assigments and projects. So if you have a laptop, or can afford one, then its better to take it with you. Otherwise, you need to borrow from fellow classmates and friends.
