Hello student. 5169 is a bit higher rank. It might be difficult to get computer science branch in coimatore campus. Since you are from AP, there is not state quota if I guess. So, chances are a bit less.

Yes you have to compulsorily include language among the best four. It can be either English or Hindi, whichever you have scored more.If you're from Science stream, your main subjects would be Physics,Chemistry,Maths/Biology and English. The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's with 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale. This is for candidates belonging to general category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category it is 50% aggregate or 5.0 CGPA on a 10
