Hi there,

No you can't get mechanical engineering branch at Ju under 687 general rank, your rank must have been under 400 for that branch, although you can get other branches at Ju which are good for placement, don't go after branch to any other college as JU is one

students can appear in the exam two times in a year.  students can appear in JEE Main in three consecutive years from the year of passing their class 12 exam. So the total number of attempts in JEE Main for a student becomes six.

Age limit for appearing NDA exam is 16.5 years to 19.5 years.NDA 1applying candidates must be born between 2nd july 2001 to 1st july 2004.NDA 2-applying candidates must be born between 2nd january 2002 and 1st january 2005.So according to the age limit, you can appear for the NDA exam.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on some of the factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream, over all performance of candidates etc. however at this stage it is quite difficult to predict which college you may get.
