Neet pg score required for karnataka state quota for sc category for MD Paediatric, ortho, and General Medicine.

Nikita shahi 4th Aug, 2025

Hello,

For students applying under the SE category in Karnataka, the cut-off scores for NEET PG change slightly each year based on seat availability and exam difficulty. But based on recent trends:

  1. For MD Paediatrics, a NEET PG score of around 470–490 is considered safe.
  2. For MS Orthopaedics, you should aim for 480–500.
  3. For MD General Medicine, which is one of the most competitive branches, aim for 510–530+ to be safe under SE quota.

These are rough estimates and can shift depending on demand and mop-up rounds, but this should give you a clear idea of what to aim for if you're applying through Karnataka state quota.

All the best!

Currently I am in last year of engineering (SPPU Pune, maharashtra ) . Before this I got year down twice in third year of my engineering. Iam genaral category student and benefited EBC scholarship in previous years. After gap of these two years am I eligible to apply for EBC scholarship ?

Nikita shahi 4th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can still apply for the EBC scholarship, especially if you were eligible in earlier years and your family’s annual income is under 8 lakhs. In Maharashtra, the EBC scholarship is usually given for the duration of the regular course. Since you had two year-downs, the scholarship may not be given for those gap years, but you are definitely eligible for the final year, as long as you are enrolled as a regular student again. Just make sure your documents are up-to-date, and check with your college’s scholarship department if they need any extra clarification regarding the year-down.

Thank you!

Are medical colleges accepting two marksheet from two boards (cbse and nios) if I failed in only chemistry from CBSE board and gave exam from NIOS only for Chemistry.!!?? And I overall passed from cbse board with 5 subject Chemistry, biology, IT , English and health and education

sadafreen356 4th Aug, 2025

Generally, medical colleges accept two mark sheets (CBSE and NIOS) if you failed a subject like Chemistry in CBSE but cleared it through NIOS, making you eligible for NEET and subsequent admissions, according to NMC guidelines.

Ensure that, combining both mark sheets, you have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects, meeting the minimum aggregate percentage (e.g., 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC).

However, it's always recommended to confirm specific college requirements and NEET guidelines to avoid any potential issues during counseling or admission process. You should be prepared to present both marksheets and, if necessary, explain the situation during the admission process.

Nikita shahi 4th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

Yes, many medical colleges do accept mark sheets from different boards like CBSE and NIOS, as long as you meet the NEET eligibility criteria. In your case, even though you passed Chemistry through NIOS, and the other subjects like Biology, English, and Physical Education through CBSE, you have a valid combination of 5 subjects, which is required. The NMC recognizes NIOS, so you're eligible for NEET and MBBS admissions, provided:

  1. You have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually
  2. You meet the minimum required marks (50% for general, 40% for reserved)

Always carry both mark sheets and explain if asked during counselling. This situation is not rare, and many students go through NIOS for improvement and still get into medical colleges successfully.

All the best!

as a dropper to claim domicile certificate which is better for me in wbjee a1 or a2 or any one

gopi 4th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

You can choose between A1 and A2 if you are a dropper and want to enjoy the domicile benefit in WBJEE, depending on what qualifies your eligibility:

  • Category A1: If you have passed 10+2 from West Bengal and have lived there for at least the past 10 years.
  • Category A2: If your parents are permanent residents of West Bengal (even after studying in a different place).

When Will be distributed of id card . I niraj tirkey from shivpuri kanke road Ranchi and when will be start to new session of bsc class zoology

Nikita shahi 4th Aug, 2025

Hello Niraj

As per usual college practices, ID card distribution typically takes place during the first few weeks of the new academic session. For HUC the session for Zoology classes is expected to begin shortly after admissions and document verifications are completed, usually by mid to late August. However, for accurate and updated information, it's best to regularly check the college notice board, official website, or contact the administration directly.

Hope you will find it helpful!

sadafreen356 4th Aug, 2025

As of early August 2025, Ranchi University's BSc admissions concluded around June 2025. While specific ID card distribution dates aren't available, they are typically issued after the admission and registration process.

Contacting the university directly is recommended for the most current information regarding ID card collection and the exact start date for the new BSc Zoology (likely First Semester FYUGP) session. You can find contact details on the Ranchi University website.

Admissions are open or not for bca first year

Aryan 4th Aug, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

As the BCA course is majorly provided by the private universities or colleges in India, mostly private institutions like Amity, Galgotiya, KRMU etc. have admission open till mid of August and you should not wait more and apply as soon as possible into a college. The requirement is at least 50% aggregate marks in class 12th and colleges may even require an interview which needs some common questions to be answered.
