Hello Prisha
As you have compartment in Mathematics and you wish to change your stream to Humanities you have 2 options from here on:
1. You could try to study and clear your compartment of Mathematics.
2. You can change your stream to Humanities but you will need to repeat from Class 11th so you will need 2 years from now to clear Class 12th.
My personal suggestion will be to choose Option 1. Trust me I have dealt with this feeling myself and wanted to choose Option 2 but I worked hard and cleared my exams. I was scared not only in Mathematics but Physics, Chemistry and even Computer Science. At last, it's on you what you want to choose.
Thank You!

For the top 20 percentile eligibility in JOSAA counselling, the category that is used is based on what you declare in your JEE Mains application and for which you provide a valid certificate during document verification not necessarily the one mentioned in your board exam. Since you're from Maharashtra and appeared under SEBC, you’ll be treated as a General category candidate unless you have a valid central OBC NCL certificate.
So for JOSAA, they’ll consider your category only if it’s valid under the central category list and matches what you declared in JEE Mains along with the correct certificate. The SEBC category used in the MH board won’t be considered by JOSAA unless it overlaps with central OBC NCL.

Model papers for Class 10 Physical Science (combining Physics and Chemistry) for the 2026 board examinations are usually released by your state education board a few months before the exams. These model question papers are crucial as they reflect the latest exam pattern and question type distribution.
What you should do to get them:
1. Visit your State Board's official website or your school's online portal under the "Resources" or "Examination" section.
2. Look for a link labeled "Model Question Paper 2026 - Physical Science".
3. Download the PDF and use it to practice within the official time limit.
4. Refer to previous year papers (from 2021-2025) to identify recurring topics and improve time management.

There are very low chances for getting admission in Universities. You can't go for government colleges directly without clarifying entrance exam. But their are some State Universities where you can get admission mostly on merit based.
Typically majority of Institutions requires a minimum marks of 50% above in class 12th and especially for course like B.Sc IT. If you come under reserved category than your chances increases of getting admission.
But lastly there's one option left that is to go for Private Institutions, their minimum criteria is low and even admission are based on merit. Here are private Institutions you can apply for:
1) Kumaun Institute
2) JIIT Noida
3) Galgotias University
