The cutoff for the B.Sc.–M.Sc. Forensic Science dual degree course at NFSU depends on your marks in the NFAT entrance test.
For the general category, students with around 38.5 marks got admission in 2023. Some students even got in with 28 marks in the final rounds.
For the OBC-NCL category, the cutoff was also around 28 marks.
So, if you have scored above 38 in general or above 28 in OBC, you have a good chance to get a seat at NFSU.
The cutoffs may change slightly each year based on the number of students and difficulty of the paper.

With a score of 587, you have a good chance of getting admission into other reputable colleges, both within Delhi University (potentially South Campus) and other participating universities.
Explore central universities participating in CUET, such as Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and others.

Thank you!!
Hello,
If you have less marks in the entrance exam, admission is still possible, but it depends on the cut-off, college, and course.
You may get a lower-ranked college or course. Try for counselling and check if any seats are available.
Hope it helps !

In 2025, the application window for the majority of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in India generally starts in early July and lasts until August, varying by university and entrance exam outcomes. For undergraduate admissions based on CUET, numerous central and state universities began registration and preference selection during the first and second weeks of July, after the CUET-UG results were announced on July 4.
In the same way, for engineering programs such as KCET, the counselling and choice entry procedure started in early July and will carry on until mid or late July, with mock allotments and seat confirmations occurring shortly afterward.
Postgraduate admissions have commenced in universities such as Delhi University and Patna University, with DU initiating its second phase of PG admissions in early July, while PU Patna is open for PG applications from July 15 to July 31.
Hence, if you aim to enroll in 2025, it’s crucial to remain informed about your targeted university's timeline, since many schools are presently conducting their admission processes or will start soon.
Hope this helps. All the best!

With 308 marks in NEET 2025 and SC category, it is very difficult to get a seat in a government BDS college. Usually, SC category students need around 380 to 430 marks to get BDS in a government college.
But still, if the cut-off goes down this year or some seats remain vacant, you may have a very small chance in the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds.
You can get admission in private BDS colleges with 308 marks, especially under SC quota. Many private colleges accept students with lower scores.
You should take part in all counselling rounds. You can also think about doing B.Sc. in allied health sciences or other medical-related courses, or try NEET again next year for a better score.
