i chose slide option in round 1 and no change in round 2 same college same branch i got then will i choose slide option again

sadafreen356 30th Jun, 2025

No, if you selected the "Slide" option in the first round of JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counseling and received the same seat (same college and same branch) in the second round, you cannot choose to "Slide" again in the subsequent rounds. The "Slide" option, once chosen, remains in effect for all subsequent rounds until a higher preference seat is allocated or you choose to "Freeze" your seat.

Slide Option:

The "Slide" option means you have accepted the current seat and are seeking a better branch within the same institute in subsequent rounds.

Effect of "Slide":

If you choose "Slide", you are essentially telling the system that you are okay with the current seat, but you want to be considered for a better branch in the same college in future rounds.

Lock-in Effect:

Once you choose "Slide", it remains active until you either get a better branch in the same college (and you accept it), or you choose to "Freeze" the seat (meaning you are satisfied with your current seat and don't want any further changes).

No Change in Option:

You cannot switch from "Slide" to "Float" or vice-versa after the first round. Your choice of "Slide" will be carried forward throughout the counseling rounds.

In your case:

Since you received the same seat in the second round after selecting "Slide" in the first, your seat is effectively "locked" in for the remaining rounds under the "Slide" option. You cannot switch to "Float" or any other option.

If I dont have minimum marks in pcm I got 115 but I have 120 my cet score is 71 percentile category is sc then I got collage or not

lisa 30th Jun, 2025

It seems like you're asking about the implications of having a PCM score of 115 and an MHT CET score of 71 percentile, given that the minimum marks for PCM might not be met. Generally, the minimum PCM marks are required for eligibility in engineering colleges. A 71 percentile in MHT CET might be good enough for some private colleges or for specific programs, but it depends on the specific college and program you are targeting.

PLS ANSWER , I AM TAKING PARTIAL DROP THIS YEAR AND JOINING A PVT COLLEGE AND WILL WRITE JEE NEXT YEAR , during counselling of jee next year should i give tc of class 12th or tc of my 1st year pvt college????

GOTTUMUKKALA DIVYASRI 7th Jul, 2025

So you're taking a partial drop and joining a private clg this year, then next year at the time of JEE counselling you need to submit the Transfer certificate(TC) from your private clg but not your Class 12 school TC.
Because JEE counselling need your most recent TC to confirm that you've officially left that institute.Hence now after joining the private clg get TC from there next year and then use it in JEE Counselling.

can i get admission in ctae udaipur with 12th percentage

lisa 30th Jun, 2025

To get admission into the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) Udaipur for a B.Tech program, you need to have passed your 12th grade with specific subjects and also qualify through JEE Main and REAP counseling. While your 12th percentage is a factor, it's not the sole determinant for admission.

is compulsory need TANCET for entance in ME embedded system

sadafreen356 30th Jun, 2025

Yes, the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is generally required for admission to M.E. Embedded Systems programs in Tamil Nadu, especially for government quota seats. While some institutions may also consider GATE scores, TANCET is a common and often mandatory entrance exam for many colleges offering this program.

TANCET is a common requirement:

For admission to M.E. Embedded Systems programs in Tamil Nadu, TANCET is a widely accepted and often required entrance exam.

Government Quota:

TANCET is particularly important for securing admission through the government quota in various colleges.

GATE as an alternative:

Some institutions may also accept GATE scores, but TANCET remains a common and sometimes mandatory requirement.

Counselling:

After qualifying TANCET (and potentially GATE), candidates may be called for counseling sessions conducted by Anna University or the respective institutions.

Therefore, if you are aiming for an M.E. Embedded Systems program in Tamil Nadu, it's highly recommended to appear for TANCET.

Can I get admission for IX std

lisa 30th Jun, 2025

Yes, admission to Class IX is possible if you have passed Class VIII from a recognized school, but it may depend on the specific board and school's policies. You may need to provide a transfer certificate (TC) from your previous school. Additionally, some boards like CBSE may have specific rules regarding admissions in Class IX, especially for students transferring from other boards.

Without gate score can I get admission in government pg programs

sadafreen356 30th Jun, 2025

Yes, it is possible to get admitted to some government postgraduate (PG) programs, including M.Tech, without a GATE score. While GATE is a common and often preferred route for admission to many government institutions, especially IITs and NITs, several alternatives exist.

Here's how you can pursue PG programs without GATE:

Sponsored Seats:

Many IITs and NITs offer sponsored seats in their M.Tech programs. These seats are often available to candidates with relevant work experience (usually at least two years) in a related field.

Quality Improvement Programme (QIP):

This program allows individuals already working in academic institutions to pursue M.Tech degrees at IITs and other institutions without a GATE score.

Entrance Exams Conducted by Specific Institutions:

Some institutions, including IITs and NITs, may conduct their own entrance exams or interviews for specific M.Tech programs, especially for those not seeking GATE-based admission.

State-Level Entrance Exams:

Some state governments conduct their own entrance exams for postgraduate programs in state-funded universities and colleges.

Merit-Based Admission:

Some institutions may offer admission based on academic merit, considering your undergraduate performance and other relevant factors.

Private Institutions:

Private universities and colleges often offer M.Tech programs without mandatory GATE scores, relying on their own entrance exams, interviews, or merit-based admissions.

Study Abroad:

Consider pursuing an MS degree abroad, as many international universities have their own admission criteria, which may not include GATE.

Important Considerations:

Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the specific eligibility criteria of the institution and program you are interested in, as these may vary.

Application Deadlines: Be aware of the application deadlines for each institution and program.

Alternative Exams: If you are considering an institution that conducts its own entrance exam, familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and syllabus.
