Hello,
Typically the cutoff for aerospace engineering is determined by the entrance exam (like JEE Advanced or GATE) and institution and category-like factors. For example, in the JEE Advanced, you need to rank in ranges of 1400 to 2800 for admission to top IITs in the general category.
I hope it will clear your category!!
Hello
Aerospace Engineering is offered at top IITs like Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, and Kharagpur. The minimum (best) cut-off ranks are around 1,100–1,300 in General category for top IITs like IIT Bombay.
The maximum (last) cut-off ranks go up to 6,000–7,000 in lower-ranked IITs or for reserved categories. Female-only and EWS categories may see closing ranks near 5,500–7,000.
These cut-offs vary each year depending on difficulty level and seat availability. A safer rank for the General category is under 2,500 to secure Aerospace in a top IIT.

Hello candidate,
Negative marking means if you answer a question wrong in an exam, some marks are cut from your score. You get marks for right answers, but for wrong ones, marks are reduced. It’s done to stop students from guessing answers.
For an example , if you scored 78 out of 100 and wrong questions is 9, and in your exam there is 1/3 negative marking, then for every 3 wrong answers, 1 mark will be cut. So, 3 marks will be deducted from your score. It means now your marks are 75.

If you have obtained a migration certificate from Cluster University of Jammu, it means you officially intended to leave that university.
However, you can still seek re-admission, but it depends on the university’s policies and approval from the administration. You will likely need to submit a written request explaining your reason for wanting to return.
The university may ask for the original migration certificate back or a declaration that you didn't take admission elsewhere.
Since you mentioned not being admitted to the new university, it strengthens your case. Contact the university's admissions or registrar's office immediately for official guidance
