Will a non local local student get fully fee reimbursement through mht cet ,wbjee

AKKSHEETHA M 11th Dec, 2025

Hello,
A non-local student does not get full fee reimbursement through MHT-CET or WBJEE. Full fee reimbursement is usually given only to students who belong to the home state and satisfy the state-specific eligibility rules. In MHT-CET, only Maharashtra domicile candidates under valid categories are eligible for government fee reimbursement. In WBJEE, only West Bengal domicile students can get the state benefits and fee waivers. If you are a non-local candidate in either state, you can still take admission, but you will not receive full fee reimbursement from the state government.

top colleges through ap eamcet

Sakshi 10th Dec, 2025

Based on the AP EAMCET (EAPCET) ranking, the top colleges are generally the government and established university colleges, followed by high-ranking private institutions. Admission to these colleges is strictly based on the AP EAMCET rank achieved.  The official AP EAMCET counselling process lists colleges by closing rank, allowing candidates to see which institutions they are eligible for based on their merit. The cutoff ranks for these colleges are constantly updated after each round of seat allotment. You can use the AP EAMCET College Predictor tool and see the detailed rank-wise lists for all branches here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ap-eamcet-eapcet-rank-wise-colleges-list

After clear NEST examination then I will be able to complete B.sc and M.sc integrated. Then can i get job in scientist field. if yes then how

Vaishnavi Viswanathan 10th Dec, 2025

Hello,

Yes, after the clearing of the NEST eligibility test, you can directly join the integrated course at institutes like NISER or CEBS  , which most probably lead you to the field you wanted to work in.

https://www.careers360.com/courses/bsc-msc-dual-degree

After the integration course, it's smart to join a PhD. programme in the field that you want to major in. And after that, passing in entrance exams like CSIR, DRDO, DAE Labs, or any research labs to your choosing.

You should at least maintain a good track record of a CGPA close to 7.5 (minimum)  along with good projects, internships, and recommendations.

After the PhD and entrance exams, you shall filter, scrutinize, and apply for the desired scientist posts.

Hope it clarifies your query. Good luck.

i have done my 12th in Maharashtra but I have up obc caste certificate, can i eligible for obc category in mbbs seat

SEJAL JAIN 10th Dec, 2025

Hello

If you did your 12th in Maharashtra but have an OBC certificate from Uttar Pradesh, then you can only use the OBC reservation in UP, not in Maharashtra.
This is because each state accepts only its own state-issued caste certificate for state quota medical seats.
So, in Maharashtra MBBS counselling, you will be considered the General category unless you have a Maharashtra-issued OBC certificate.
But if you apply for MBBS seats through UP state counselling, your UP OBC certificate will be valid.
For All India Quota (AIQ) 15, only a central OBC-NCL certificate is needed.
