you can pursue MSc Microbiology but there’s a key condition: you’ll need to clear your backlog before final admission.
Most universities require:
A completed BSc degree in Microbiology or a related field
Minimum 50–55% aggregate marks
No active backlogs at the time of admission
Note; you have to clear your back before admission .
MSc Microbiology college fees can vary widely depending on whether the college is government or private. On average, the fees range from 30,000 to 1.5 lakh per year. If you have a backlog in the 5th semester, many universities still allow you to take admission in MSc, provided you clear the backlog before the final result or within the allowed time frame.
It’s always best to check the specific university's rules. Most colleges offer provisional admission, and you can submit the cleared results later. Just stay in touch with the college and be sure to meet all deadlines.

Hello Aditya,
Yes, you can pursue Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in Chandigarh University through the CUET UG. Computing University use CUET UG score to offer admission in various undergraduate courses like B.Tech in CSE, etc. But check their official university admission portal for new eligibility criteria, cut-off and counselling process.
With a rank of 43,205, getting a seat in CSE (Computer Science Engineering) or CSM (Computer Science with AI/ML) depends on several factors like your category (OC/BC/SC/ST), local area, gender, and the college preferences you have. Generally, top-tier colleges might be tough at this rank, but you still have a good chance of getting CSE or CSM in mid-range or newly established engineering colleges, especially if you belong to a reserved category.
It's important to check last year’s closing ranks and participate actively in counselling rounds to improve your chances. Keep backup options ready and consider emerging colleges where CSE/CSM is available.
Hey Jyosna,
Thanks for reaching out!
With a rank of 43,205 getting CSE or CSM in top NITs/IITs is unlikely, but you have decent chance in lower NITs,IITs or good state colleges, especially with home state or reserved quota.CSM is more accessible,as many college offer it at higher closing ranks.
If you're open to newer colleges or related branches, you can still get a good seat with strong career prospects . Prioritize CSM or IT related options in JoSAA/CSAB where CSE is not likely.
Predict to explore better chances:

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you can still take the annual exam next year without taking the admit card or improvement exam this year. The improvement exam is optional and only serves to raise your score from last year - not taking it has no impact on your eligibility for future regular exams as long as you complete all your attendance obligations and register with the institution for the next academic session. At the end of the day, it is always best to check directly with your school/university for the proper procedures.
Yes, a CBSE 10th study certificate (or original marksheet) is usually needed during engineering, for DOB and academic qualification verification. If you've lost the original, you can always apply for a duplicate marksheet or certificate from CBSE - either through their official website or from the concerned regional office. At the time of counselling, make sure to bring the duplicate and a copy of the FIR or affidavit (if applicable).
For DDU Gorakhpur’s B.Sc. Mathematics admission is primarily based on merit from the 12th-grade board exams (minimum roughly 40–45 aggregate needed), and seats are also allocated through the university’s entrance test rankings.
candidates who score comfortably above 45 in Class 12 and perform well in the entrance exam often placing within the top few hundred ranks of the test stand a strong chance of securing a spot in the main campus program
