Could I please know about the number of applications received by EFLU this year (2019)? Just for the knowing 'bout the probability...

The number of applicants this year is 13,384 with 4307 applications for B.A., 382 for B.ED. when it comes to UG courses. Maximum number of applications received was for M.A. with 5868 applicants. The number of applications being submitted to EFLU has increased from 45% to 48.5%, due to increase in exam centers.
In the year 2018, the number of applications received was 12,927 in comparison to 2017 where only 8617 applications came in. The B.A(Hons) English received the maximum applications of 3010 candidates.
The number of seats available for UG courses are
· B.A.(Hons.) English with a duration of 6 semesters in Hyderabad 40 seats, Shillong 20, Lucknow 40 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) Arabic, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) French, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) German, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) Japanese, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) Russian, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.A.(Hons.) Spanish, 6 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
· B.Ed. 4 semesters, Hyderabad, 20 seats
All the B.A. courses are with a duration of 6 semesters, while B.Ed. is of 4 semesters. The total number of seats available for UG courses are 240.
For applying to B.A Courses
· Candidates should have cleared their 10+2/intermediate exam or an equivalent thereto with a minimum aggregate of 50% if they are from General/OBC categories and 45% if from SC/ST categories.
· The aggregate must be inclusive of marks secured in English.
· Candidates who have to appear for the qualifying examination should have passed the exam and scored the minimum marks by the time of admission.
For applying to B.Ed in English
· Candidates require a minimum aggregate of 50% marks if from General/OBC categories and 45% if from SC/ST categories in B.A. English. Candidates have to score percentages for their respective categories in case of M.A. English.
· Candidates who still have to appear for the qualifying examination are subject to the aforementioned rules for such candidates.
