The university is named after the business tycoon Mr.Brij Mohan Lal Munjal. The Hero group is the founder of the university which implies that the university has a very strong backbone. In addition to this the college and curriculum is mentored by Imperial College, London which is ranked 9

in the world. Here I would like to highlight a few aspects of our college

Admission Process:-

The admission process is very smooth and hassle free. It starts with filling out an online application and then you get a call for the interview which can be given offline or through skype. The interviewers apart from studies focus on many other aspects like co-curricular activities, sports, general knowledge and much more. There also many scholarships based on marks achieved in boards or in national entrance exams like JEE.

Campus:-

The campus is located approximately 40 km from IGI airport. Currently the campus is 50 acres with a lot of greenery. We have a Gateway building, an academic building, library, workshop, 4 hostel buildings. We also have café coffee day, Delicious by Sodexo and a Dhaba on campus. There is a salon for haircut. Another academic building and hostel buildings are to come up soon. We also have an ATM, a medical centre and an ambulance on campus.

Faculty:-

All the faculty members come from different reputed institutes like IIT’s, BITS, IIIT, Stanford etc with over 10 years of experience in the field of teaching. The teachers very friendly and cooperative. Also, most of the faculty members are involved in research work as we have great equipment and technology to assist them in this regard. Any student interested in research can also join the faculty. I find the faculty to be very approachable and they are always happy to help.

Infrastructure:-

The college has great infrastructure and facilities. We have high end labs and workshops. We also have a 3D printing lab in our college which is hardly found in any other college. The college has invested over 200 crores in labs and workshops. Training is given to the students by experts with all safety measures and safety equipment. The labs have the required amount of equipment for experiments and for research. We have spectroscopy machines, Ph detectors and many more to make experiments accurate. We also labs by Shell, IBM and Siemens. All the class rooms are spacious and are equipped with projectors for interactive learning.

Placements: The college is relatively new with the first batch passing out. This year, the only image on placements is not clear, but there have been placements for previous year batch, and the average package is 12 lakhs per annum, so the future is quite promising in coming years. Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious, airy, and equipped with A/C. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and adequate sports facilities are available with synthetic basketball courts, badminton courts, football, and cricket ground. The labs are new with all the latest and modern equipment with many industrial tie-ups like Siemens, IBM, Intel, etc. The hostel rooms are new and good with spacious airflow and balconies.

Faculty: The faculty is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Some faculty is accessible till 10:00 PM if they reside on campus. The student to faculty ratio is good but depends on the branch. The industrial exposure is good as there are regular industrial visits to practice school every year with increasing tenure. The scholarships are awarded to the deserving students.
