But in general almost all of the universities ahve guards and watchmen all over the campus. Some of them have CCTV installed and have ladies hostel in the campus itself keeping safety of women in mind. so do not worry as the University will provide you with a safe enivronment be it boy or girl.

But please do keep in mind that for your own benefit it would be best to avoid dim lit and isolated areas specially in the night and try not. to roam around in the night alone. And join some self defence class just incase you are in trouble it may come handy.
