how to join nutrionist through ts emcet

First of all, you need to obtain a good percentage in TS EAMCET to get a seat in good college. After qualifying TS EAMCET according to the rank and subject of interest, college selection procedure will occur.

Eligibility criteria to become nutritionist is:

• Undergraduate Level: For B.Sc. in Food Science, Home Science and Nutrition, candidates should have passed class 12 examination with science stream from a recognized university/board.
• Postgraduate Level: For M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition with specialization in therapeutic nutrition, public health nutrition or food science, candidates must have a bachelor degree in science stream from a recognized university/institution. If you want to specialize in Food and Nutrition, then the subjects include biochemistry, food microbiology, food safety, food science and quality control, advanced human nutrition, physiology and principles of food science.

After completing the required educational qualification and skills to become a nutritionist, there are a variety of job profiles available in this field such as Food Service Nutritionist ,Clinical Nutritionist ,Sports Nutritionist Public Health Nutritionist ,Consultant Nutritionist ,Pediatric Nutritionist.

Ts emcet is a state entrance exam for science branches and engineering. The minimum cutoff to qualifythis entrance exam is 25%. According to your rank and score you can apply to the colleges that offers nutritionist course.  This is the basic procedure.

You can apply for BSc Nutrition and dietics course with minimum eligibility of 10+2 with science. Some colleges offer direct admission to this course by making a merit list and assigning ranks according to your inter marks. Some colleges have their own entrance tests to give admission. I did not get any reference of requirements of TS EAMCET scores in any of the nutrition colleges in Telengana.

• Osmania university college for women. Admission in this course is taken after you qualify Osmania University Common Entrance Test ( OUCET )
