That's really a good thought. According to me, you need to to learn basics of all and in 3rd year, you need to learn how to solve problems in fluid mechanics, production, kinematics of machines etc.., and every day you need to go through ateast one concept. And if you're not confident enough, then go and opt some good coaching in your summer holidays.
