Admission after completing the IIT Preparatory Course depends on your performance in the preparatory programme, seat availability and category-wise allocation rules. A preparatory rank alone cannot guarantee a particular branch or IIT.

Mechanical Engineering at some IITs may be possible depending on the final allotment process. Please wait for the official seat allocation details after completion of the preparatory course.
