i have applied my ews certificate in jee mains in feb application (which was valid till 2020-2021). so for april application do i hv to renew my certificate? (as the new financial uear starts from 1st april)
Hello Aspirant,
See EWS certificate is only valid for one financial year so if it has been issued for financial year 2020-21 then it won't work for 2021-22 and you have to renew it or should apply for new one, but note that if you have applied for JEE-Main 2021 in February 2021 or March 2021 then these months are of financial year 2020-21 according to which your current EWS certificate will be considered as valid but the admission will be conducted on the month of June-July which will be the months of financial year 2021-22 so you should produce your very latest EWS certificate for admission at that time and for April or May attempt there is no need to renew it.
