Translators generally translate documents from one language into another. After attaining a basic graduation degree you can do a diploma in transalation and other required certificate programs. To follow a career in translation, you must be fluent in at least two languages atleast. Depending on who you work for, you may or may not need a qualification, but it is advisable to get the basic degree.
Some of the required skills apart from basic degree are:
- Good Knowledge of the language
- Good research skills
- Good communication skills
- Good public speaking skills
- Good analytical skills
- Computer Savy
Rest there is no hard and fast educational requirement.
