If someone gets 45 marks approx in clat examination he/she will be declared as fail. Is there any other solution to take admission after it?

Admission Alert: Law Applications Open at Jindal Global Law School
Dear Aman ,
Glad to receive your query about the Common Law Admission Test. Posting a question for seeking answers will not only help you but others like you, who may have the doubts but can't post the questions. Moreover, you should be happy with the fact that you're actually helping others too.
Now let's come to your query. Aman, the CLAT Committee, or the Conducting NLU for that matter, has never mentioned yet anything about failing or passing marks in the Common Law Admission Test. However, something exists called 'minimum marks' required for admissions to an NLU and that 'minimum marks' is widely known as CLAT Cutoff.
The CLAT Cutoff, as you also may be knowing is also at times considered to be the last rank at which a CLAT taker was admitted in an NLU.
So, you don't worry about the pass and fail as nothing such thing exists in the CLAT exam dictionary.
Now moving onto the next part of your question, which is securing a seat in a college with 45 marks. If I am not wrong alongside the CLAT data of last year, one of the candidates with as low as 12 marks belonging to OBC Category got admitted to one of the newer NLUs. So, my friend even this is not the case that you won't be offered admissions. Further, clarifying it further, another candidate form UR Category with a score of 69.25 marks, last year, was admitted to an NLU.
Aman, moreover, there are hundreds of good institutions which offer admissions through CLAT. Yes, there are not NLUs but you will be offered admission to pursue your five-year integrated law programme. Rest, all depends on your hard work and perseverance towards a better future.
Live it! Enjoy it!
I hope much of your doubts are clear by now. In case, there is something still that is bothering you, feel free to counter question me and I'll be happy to answer that too.
Keep posting questions and clearing your doubts, while you learn the new and unknown facts. Beleive me, this is the easiest way to learn something new.
All the best!
Thank you!
