In jawaharlal university entrance exam for languages it is neccassry but i don't underatand entrance exam for language also but why?

JNU conducts entrance exam for various UG and PG courses whether BA in Languages or Msc/MCA and other master programs.
The questions shall be of objective type, short answers etc. and shall be within the broad spectrum of General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture and civilization of the languages/country concerned and aptitude for language skills.
This is the must criteria so you will have to give the entrance for admission.
