KVPY Marking Scheme 2017

There will be two papers for each stream i.e. SA and SB/SX and different marks will be allotted the objective type questions

The part 1 of SA stream carries one marks for each question and part 2 will be carrying 2 marks for each MCQ

Negative Marking – In case of each wrong attempt, 0.25% marks will be deducted for questions from part 1 and 0.50% marks for part 2 of both papers

For SB/SX stream, there are total 120 questions out of which 80 questions of part 1 carries one mark each and part 2 carrying 40 questions of 2 marks each

Negative marking scheme states, deduction of 0.25% marks for wrong attempts in part 1 and 0.50% marks will be deducted for wrong attempts in part 2.
