NCET 2025 result released, but how to decide qualified candidates 2025
NCET 2025 results just dropped—NTA posted them on June 16, 2025. Cut-offs? Merit lists? Yep, those are live too.
So, you wanna know if you made the cut?
1. Grab Your Scorecard & Merit List
Head over to exams.nta.ac.in/NCET. Log in with your application number and DOB, and boom—scorecard and merit list, right there.
2. What Counts as “Qualified”?
- General folks need 50% or more.
- SC, ST, OBC, PwD? Chill, 45% is your threshold.
That’s honestly the first hurdle. Didn’t hit it? Sorry, you’re out.
3. Peep the Merit List
NTA lists as many names as there are seats for each course and college. If you spot your name or roll number—congrats, you’ve cleared the bar. Next stage, here you come.
4. Category-Wise Cut-Offs
Final cut-offs bounce around depending on your category, the course, and how many people showed up. There’s always talk about expected ranges (like “200–350 for General”), but the official PDF is the real deal. Always double-check there.
What’s Next?
Step 1: See if your name/roll number is on the merit list. No shortcut here.
Step 2: Qualified? Download your scorecard and print a copy. Don’t risk losing it.
Step 3: Keep your eyes peeled for counselling notices from colleges. They’re already rolling out.
Step 4: Stack up your documents—10+2 marksheet, category cert, admit card, photo ID. You’ll need ’em for counselling and verification.
Why does this even matter? (Speaking as someone who’s seen this process a million times.)
Cracking NCET basically flings open the doors to that 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)—IITs, NITs, RIEs, state unis, all the big names. If you’re on the merit list, you’re eligible for seat allocation and counselling. And hey, with cut-offs a bit lower this year, you might snag a spot in your top pick if you act fast.
