Sir i have a doubt that if i hv got marks above 1000 in tamilnadu state board.....will i get a standard mark based university....
I guess you are talking about engineering admissions. So, in case of TNEA 2018, the colleges that you get only depends on the marks that you have scored in PCM and the cutoff mark is calculated in 200, by taking marks of Maths in 100, Physics and Chemistry in 50 each. So, in that case, if you have an idea of how much marks you'll score in these subjects, you can calculate your score out of 200. And, after that you can check the cut off of the college and course that you want to join.Just check this link - http://cutoff.annauniversitycounselling.com/ - to know the cut off of varoius colleges and courses.
Or, using this cut off score, you can calute your rank by any rank predictor tool and with that rank, you can with that rank you can find the colleges and course that you can get enrolled into. Goto this link - https://engineering.careers360.com/tnea-college-predictor - to get an idea of which college you'll get.
And, in the case of Deemed Universities, eaach of them have their own admission procedures. You have to check their websites for that. This site maybe of help for you - http://www.tamilnadueducationalcounsel.com/. And, if you're going for any deemed universities, do a research about those colleges before getting into those universities.
Good Luck.
