what about placement in New Govt.Clg in Nagpur??
Government College of Engineering, Nagpur is a newly formed Government College of Engineering in the state of Maharashtra started from academic year 2016-17. College has big campus in Khapri area of Nagpur city. In a short span, the institute has taken efforts for strengthening the Industry-Institute Interaction to prepare the technocrats for the corporate world by introducing them to various expectations of the industry from the academia.
It is difficult to predict the placements as it is new and placements are yet to be done for first batch.
If you have any other choice you can consider that or you can take admission in ths college.
All the Best!!
The institute is owned by Govt. of Maharashtra and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Highlights :-
* Fees of about Rs 25,000/year as against over Rs 1 lakh in private colleges.
* 70% seats to be reserved for Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara & Gondia.
* 30% seats reserved for rest of Maharashtra students.
* Over 200 teaching & non-teaching staff to get employment.
* It will start with five core branches with capacity of 60 seats each.
If you talk about placement so this is quite difficult to provide you the information about the placement rate as this is not a well established in the same as 2016 -17 was the 1st batch. But as this is Govt college so the decent companies should come for placements for core and non-core branches.
Hope this helps!!!
