Hello Vimal,
Biomedical Engineering is a combination of Engineering and Biology. It involves an understanding of several technological aspects such as Electronics, Mechanics, IT and Computer Science and how they could be used and applied in the field of biology especially medical and health care systems.
It provides one an opportunity to work as an Application engineer, R&D, Hospital Engineer, Sales Engineer, Biomedical Entrepreneur, etc based on one's interest. It is mostly a research-oriented branch and is comparatively new course as compared to traditional engineering courses.
Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.

Is this more valuable course???
It is valuable considering the potentials it holds for the future of medical developments making it one of the promising engineering fields. If you have a passion for research, then it is a suitable career choice but if you wish to join just for the sake of it careerwise then you might not find it lucrative enough because there are very few Core Biomedical engineering jobs on offer for graduates in the country.Hope this helps, best wishes.
