Indian Engineering service refers as IES is a competitive examination conduct at National Level aka Engineering Services Examination. The exam is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services.
Requirement of Educational qualification for IES Exam
A Bachelors degree (B.E/B.Tech) is required in engineering from a recognized university.
It consists of Written test followed by a personal interview
Written + Interview = 1200 marks
Prelims - January, Mains- May and Interview - Nov / Dec of every year.
