Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for the counselling of JoSAA which provides admissions into the participating IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Allocation of seats is done by the admission committee on the basis of merit of the candidate. All of the candidates who have qualified either JEE Main or JEE Advanced examination had to register themselves online for the counselling of JoSAA.
