What is the age limit for general cotegory in upsc cse? how many attempt i can in upsc cse ?please provide latest contents

The candidate should be at least 21 years of age and must not exceed 32 years of age. To appear for IAS examinations, a candidate must be a citizen of India. Earlier the number of attempts permitted was 4 but now, candidate can attempt six times to crack the examination.

As per the latest regulations by UPSC, the age limit and attempt limit for UPSC is as follows:-

• General Category:- 6 attempts until the age of 32.
• OBC Category:- 9 attempts until the age of 35.
• SC/ST Category:- Unlimited attempts until the age of 37.
