What is the cost of studying in benguluru
Hello SOFIYANA
If you live in a PG then accommodation will be around - RS 6000/ month with average food and no WiFi is the general norm.A room in your university Hostel will cost you Rs 30,000 to Rs 80,000 per year with no food depending on college . Travel is expensive despite a very good network of buses.Try staying near your Institution or within it.
Food depends on you. It's like any other city - if you're tempted by pubs, expensive eateries, restaurants, coffee shops ,grills and delis - then you'll be bankrupt soon as Bangalore has a plethora of them. But if you don't mind Dosas and Coffee by the road -then you can manage.
Entertainment- for example - movie ticket prices are sky rocketing except on some days on special offer. Tickets for theatre events, exhibitions etc are also the same.
As a student if you're the types that sleeps -studies and goes to class, then you'll probably be fine. But then again the peer pressure you'll face may change you for better or worse.
Bengaluru is beautiful. But expensive for a student unless you are wise, canny and knows how to earn free meals.
hope this helps you
